2025年6月10日，来自南非高等教育部的高级代表团莅临深圳市无人机行业协会进行访问与交流。代表团成员包括南非高等教育部主管领导及来自祖鲁兰大学（University of Zululand）、文达大学（University of Venda）、福特海尔大学（University of Fort Hare）等知名高校的教授与科研负责人。
本次交流会由世界无人机大会主席、深圳市无人机行业协会会长杨金才主持。杨会长向来宾系统介绍了中国无人机产业20年的发展历程，并重点介绍了深圳作为全球无人机产业高地的技术创新、政策支持与市场应用等关键优势。此外，他还分享了协会近年来在国际合作方面的实践经验。
本次交流不仅加深了中南双方在无人机及低空经济领域的了解，更为未来开展联合研究、项目试点与政策协同奠定了坚实基础。代表团成员对深圳无人机产业的发展速度与创新能力给予高度评价，并表示希望下一次能够在南非本土迎接协会代表团回访，共同推动中非低空经济合作进入新阶段。
On June 10, 2025, a senior delegation from the Department of Higher Education and Training of South Africa visited the Shenzhen UAV Industry Association for a high-level exchange. The delegation included officials from the ministry as well as professors and academic leaders from leading institutions such as the University of Zululand, University of Venda, and University of Fort Hare.
The visit was hosted by Mr. Yang Jincai, President of the Shenzhen UAV Industry Association, who presented an overview of China’s 20-year journey in developing its UAV industry, highlighting Shenzhen’s role as a global leader in drone innovation, policy support, and commercial applications. He also shared valuable insights into the association’s growing network of international collaborations.
Mr. Euan Yao, Director of the International Department of the association, further introduced several key projects in education, agriculture, security, and emergency response carried out with international partners. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on UAV regulations, application development, industry education, and bilateral talent exchange.
The delegation expressed strong interest in establishing long-term partnerships and commended the rapid growth and innovation of Shenzhen’s drone industry. Both parties agreed that this visit marks the beginning of deeper cooperation, and expressed hopes to organize a reciprocal visit to South Africa, further advancing China–Africa collaboration in the field of unmanned aerial systems and the broader low-altitude economy.
